The beverage can is the world's most recycled beverage packaging. The beverage can consists of only one material, so it can be completely recycled.
WHERE DO I DISPOSE OF ALUMINUM BEVERAGE CANS?
Beverage cans made of aluminum can be disposed of in our public containers in Austria. In Vorarlberg, these containers are located at the local waste disposal sites or directly at the construction yards. By proper disposal, cans can be fully recycled without loss of quality.
IS THE DRINK CONTAMINATED WITH ALUMINUM?
The liquid in the beverage can does not come into contact with the aluminum since the can is coated in the manufacturing process with a food-safe interior lacquer which serves as protection.
